LittleBigPlanet has proven to the gaming community that anyone, and everyone can apply their dream level into Sackboy’s playground, but those that have the right skill, and mind set are able to create something truly amazing. We’ve all been wowed by the massive levels, the LittleBigCalculator, and Tic Tac Toe, but now we have something just as or even more complex than all other levels. The leve recreates Conway’s Game of Life described as a cellular automation in which there are actually no players involved during the game. The player creates a configuration, and watches it evolve. While the idea of this may sound completely boring to the average gamer, the work behind this level is just mind bottling. The moving gears, pulleys, and structure is just unbelievable. The level was created by three students of Olin College, and can be found on LittleBigPlanet by searching LittleBigLife. The video after the jump demonstrates this complex piece of work, and how it pulls together to create the game. In the end all I have to say is WOW. I’m going to go play World of Warcraft to try and forget how stupid this makes me feel. Video after the jump!
Thanks for the tip Nina!
